UPDATE FROM THE JOURNEY WEST

-->
Update from our Journey West

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO GAVE FINANCIALLY AND PRAYED FOR US!  We couldn’t have made it out here without your help.  Literally!! We wouldn’t have even had the gas to make it. We do not take it lightly what you have given.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We originally needed $3,800 to get us on our feet with the first months rent and deposit.  We have raised about $2,400.  We are still in need of about $1,400 for August.

Well we made it to Pasadena California after making stops with family and friends in Nashville, TN, Indiana, Springfield, IL, Kansas City, MO, somewheres in The middle of New Mexico and finally to our destination in Pasadena CA!!  (Over 45 hrs of driving =0 oy!)

While in Indiana we had a wonderful time catching up with Brandon’s family and lots of long time friends.

We also got to visit with some special covenant friends in Spencer, Indiana.  They have a lovely church there where they really steward the presence of Jesus and raise their children in that atmosphere. You can check them out here http://www.hislovecf.org/

Next we went to Springfield, IL to visit the Beauchamp family who are leaders of the Springfield House of Prayer.  Thanks to Andrew (Big) and Jennifer and their kiddos for hosting us in their home! We have 5 kids and they have 4 so it was quite a sleepover!  They are like family and have a real gift of hospitality aka (Andrew cooked all the meals for us =).

After Springfield we went to Kansas City, MO and thanks to Kjirsten Steeno for opening up her home to us while she was on a family trip.  While in KC we were able to take some time and do a few of the fun things we love there.  We went with the kids to Deanna Rose Farm, a splash park and The 20 acre blueberry farm.  Kids had a great time!

Next we decided to drive a crazy 17 hours in the van. The children did great in the car.  No complaining at all the whole trip.  We took plenty of stops and Let the kids play.    After 17 hours we decided it was time to stop for the night in a hotel Somewhere in New Mexico near the Arizona border.

The next day we got up and drove 10 hrs, all the way to Pasadena,  still not sure if we would have all the money we needed to for the apartment. God was so good and we were able to have a few more days to give the remainder of the deposit. People were messaging us and calling us on our way saying they want to sow into us, we almost cried a few times! So thank you!

We are so happy and grateful to all who gave prayerfully and financially! Many of you confirmed through prophetic words and encouragements to us, that this is absolutely God for our family right now!

Thank you so much for considering giving!!
